MONTFAIR RESORT FARM is an eco-friendly & pet-friendly intimate vacation resort nestled between two of Virginia’s gems–Charlottesville and the Shenandoah Valley. We are located just 15 minutes from the town of Crozet, 30 minutes from Charlottesville, and 40 minutes from Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.

Scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains offer beautiful dramatic settings for wedding ceremonies, with the lodge easily accessible for receptions. The versatile reception hall also accommodates intimate classes, workshops, retreats and group camp-outs. Montfair is an excellent starting point to tour the many local attractions of Albemarle County and Charlottesville, including the University of Virginia, the historic Downtown Mall, the Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Blue Ridge Parkway, James Monroe’s Ash Lawn, neighboring organic farms, and the many nearby wineries.
