The air-conditioned & heated cottages are fully equipped with modern appliances and gas heaters. All dishes, utensils, linens & towels are provided along with complimentary organic coffee & teas.

Montfair’s rustic lodge is available for a variety of events, large and small. We pride ourselves on being a memorable magic location for intimate relaxed events. Scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains offer beautiful dramatic settings for wedding ceremonies with the lodge easily accessible for receptions. The versatile reception hall also accommodates intimate classes, workshops and retreats. For those looking to create eco-events we are happy to share our knowledge of the many local organic earth-friendly vendors.

Montfair is an excellent starting point to tour the many local attractions of Albemarle County and Charlottesville, including the University of Virginia, the historic Downtown Mall, the Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Blue Ridge Parkway, James Monroe’s Ash Lawn, neighboring organic farms and the many nearby wineries.
